Consider them rather as a number of separate flashcards, that might be interesting to take with you on your trip. To find your way for instance, or to find out why it might be a good idea to include these spots in your visit.

For practical purposes, the idea is that you have a car (or any other vehicle) at your disposal to roam the Old Peninsula, but are not afraid to leave the beaten track. When the going gets a bit rough, the necessary precautions are included.
